Counselling and Performance Coaching
Counselling helps clients to cope with challenging situations and develop efficient strategies to solve problems. It uses Socratic Dialogue (a form of discussion) to help individuals understand and modify assumptions that may be creating barriers to their personal or professional growth. A supportive environment enables clients to overcome obstacles and attempt challenges they may have previously thought impossible.
Typical issues addressed include depression, anxiety, ‘square mile syndrome’, 'burnout', stress, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder, maladjusted eating patterns, low self-esteem, interpersonal/relationship issues, executive coaching and optimal performance.
The therapeutic techniques used include Adlerian therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therpay (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprogramming (EMDR). EAL (Equine Assisted Coaching) is also available for executive coaching and team building.
